It becomes emblematic and representative of an ideal, a standard. One of the ways to set up a standard and bring the members of an organization up to that standard is through the uniform. It should stimulate loyalty toward that standard by building morale and binding members into closer fellowship. It also appeals to those not already members to join. The uniform becomes a builder of club spirit.<\/p>\n<p>The uniform is always neat and clean. Because the Adventurer Club program is valuable to each member, the uniform will be acquired and worn with enthusiasm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uniform Should be worn<\/strong><br \/>\nUniforms should be worn on the following occasions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At regular Adventurer meetings, when applicable<\/li>\n<li>At special programs (Adventurer Day, Induction, Investiture, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>At Investiture services<\/li>\n<li>At any public gathering when any or all act as:<br \/>\nMessengers<br \/>\nUshers<br \/>\nGuards of honor<br \/>\nColor guards<br \/>\nFirst-aid volunteers<\/li>\n<li>While engaging in missionary activities, such as Ingathering, distributing food baskets, bouquets, literature, or church announcements, band work, such as singing bands and sunshine bands<\/li>\n<li>On occasions as specified by Adventurer staff officers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Types of Uniforms<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>The dress uniform for the Adventurer<br \/>\nboy and girl<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nGirls<\/strong><br \/>\nNavy blue pleated jumper<br \/>\nWhite blouse (Peter Pan collar shirt type blouse with short sleeves)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boys<\/strong><br \/>\nNavy blue pants<br \/>\nWhite shirt (straight shirt with short sleeves and regular collar)<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nBoys\/Girls<\/strong><br \/>\nBlack shoes: uniform within club<br \/>\nNavy blue socks: uniform within club<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scarf<\/strong><br \/>\nAdventurer scarf is part of the uniform worn with an Adventurer slide<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sash<\/strong><br \/>\nThe sash is navy blue and part of the uniform<\/li>\n<li><strong>The dress uniform for Adventurer staff <\/strong><strong>Ladies<\/strong><br \/>\nNavy blue skirt<br \/>\nWhite blouse (shirt type blouse<br \/>\nwith short or long sleeves and<br \/>\nregular collar)<br \/>\nNavy blue tie<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men<\/strong><br \/>\nNavy blue slacks<br \/>\nWhite shirt with short or long sleeves<br \/>\nNavy blue tie<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men\/Ladies<\/strong><br \/>\nBlack shoes: Uniform within club<br \/>\nBlue belt: Uniform within club<br \/>\nBlue Socks for Men<br \/>\nSkin Tone Panty Hose for Women<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scarf<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Adventurer scarf is part of the uniform and worn with an Adventurer slide. (Available in child or adult size.)<br \/>\nStaff members who are Master Guides may wear their Master Guide scarf, slide, and pin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sash<\/strong><br \/>\nSash is navy blue and worn at appropriate times. AY honors are not to be worn on the Adventurer sash; only Adventurer awards are to be worn on sash.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Uniform Insignias<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0<strong>Adventurer Patch<\/strong> On right sleeve<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0<strong>Adventurer World<\/strong> On left sleeve<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0<strong>Crescent On right<\/strong> sleeve above Adventurer patch<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0<strong>Adventurer awards<\/strong> Worn on the sash<br \/>\n(Master Guide crest can be worn on<br \/>\nthe sash.)<\/li>\n<li>Field uniform for the Adventurers and staff is a T-shirt and blue jeans. Each club can create its own design for field uniform T-shirt and sweatshirts. A few suggestions for designs on T-shirts are:<br \/>\n<strong>a<\/strong>. Adventurer logo<br \/>\n<strong>b<\/strong>. Local club name<br \/>\n<strong>c<\/strong>.
