Through fun, faith-filled activities, children grow spiritually, develop practical life skills, build friendships, and learn to love Jesus while serving others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#632020\"><strong>What is an Adventurer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-4-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\">An Adventurer is a child in Pre-K through 4th grade. Each Adventurer is a unique and special person. Still there are several characteristics which are typical of Adventurer-age children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-4 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#6a2e2e\"><strong>Characteristics of the Adventurer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-color-2-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-5 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Physical Characteristics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-6\">I have boundless energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-7\">I am developing coordination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-color-2-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-8 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mental Characteristics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I learn by doing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I am curious about everything<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I understand what I can see and touch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">I like variety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-color-2-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-10 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Socio-Emotional Characteristics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-11\">I am learning social skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-12\">I am becoming more independent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-13\">I need success and approval from you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-14\">I am easily overexcited<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-15\">I am very social<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-color-2-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-16 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to Respond<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-color-3-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-17 wp-block-paragraph\">*Please don&#8217;t ask me to sit still for very long. I want to DO things.<br \/>*Let me improve coordination through games and creative activities.<br \/>*Don&#8217;t just tell me things. Let me try them and get involved with them.<br \/>*I do want to know about my world. Tell me in an interesting way.<br \/>*Show me what you want me to know.
